Salaried GP roles with funded time out-of-practice to do external training and tutorials.
We have exciting opportunities for newly qualified GPs to join our CQC ‘Outstanding’ rated, HSJ Award winning, practices in Sheffield on regional ‘Trailblazer’ and ‘Leadership’ fellowship schemes.
These are innovative posts available for GPs in their first 5 years after qualification and include funded time out-of-practice to develop your professional skills. In 2022/23, Health Education England will fund 25 fellowships across Yorkshire and Humber. We are hosting four of these posts.
The fellowships provide GPs with the chance to develop leadership skills and experience work in an area of high deprivation. We are offering between 6-8 sessions a week with two of these being spent out-of-practice.
The Trailblazer programme includes the opportunity to taking part in a fantastic programme of education and support provided by Fair Health including a monthly national Trailblazer GP Educational programme bringing together GPs from around the country together for continuing professional development. The leadership will help develop skills to lead teams, with a focus on developing and implementing improved care planning across a six practices in Sheffield. The scheme includes external support and tutorials.
We are passionate about tackling health inequalities and ‘innovation’ is one of our core values. We’re looking for people who want to try new approaches and work in different ways.
Our practices are rated as ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ by the CQC and we won the HSJ Award for Primary Care Innovation in 2020.
