We have now concluded the election process for the three vacant shareholder representative posts on the PCS board.

The elections were required because the terms of office for the Practice Manager Director for North localities and GP Director for Hallam & South Locality (HASL) were due to expire at the end of this month. In addition, the Practice Manager Director for Central Locality resigned from their practice role, creating a vacancy for the remainder of the term of office, which is due to end 30th November 2025.

Following a call for “expressions of interest” the following candidates put themselves forward for the vacancies:

•            GP Director HASL:  Dr Fleur Jones

•            Practice Manager Director Central: Clare Normington and Karen Zaman.

•            Practice Manager Director North: Chris Stocks

We therefore confirm that Dr Fleur Jones and Chris Stocks are returned unopposed to serve an additional term on the PCS board.

In central locality the nominated shareholders from all practice voted on the two candidates who declared an interest. Voting has now ended and Clare Normington, Managing Partner at Manor and Park Group Practice, has been confirmed as the Practice Manager representative for Central Locality. The new terms of office for each of these directors will start on 1 December.
