Nursing Lead, Laura Carnall RN, accepted onto national leadership programme.

We are delighted to announced that Laura Carnall, Nursing Lead for the practices run by Primary Care Sheffield, has been accepted onto the ‘Aspiring Nurse Leaders Programme’ run by the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) and is also undertaking a leadership fellowship with Sheffield Integrated Care Board.

The QNI’s ‘Aspiring Nurse Leaders Programme’ is designed to support the professional development of nurses working in the community to become future leaders in healthcare, to the benefit of the people, families and communities they serve.

Dr Lucy Cormack, Medical Director at Primary Care Sheffield said, “We are hugely proud of this achievement, it is a testament to Laura’s qualities as a leader in our organisation and the quality of the care that she provides to patients.

“I want to congratulate Laura on being accepted onto both programmes. She is a fantastic ambassador for Primary Care Sheffield and for primary care and community nursing. Well done Laura!”
