People with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) have worked with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals to create a new self-advocacy toolkit. The toolkit is designed to help people communicate confidently with those involved in their care and support them to think about, and build, the skills they need to get their voice heard. The toolkit has been designed as part of the AWARE-IBD Project, funded by The Health Foundation. 

You can download a .pdf version of the toolkit or access the tool online where you can use the website’s toolbar to read the text aloud, show simplified information, or translate the words into different languages.
