Primary Care Sheffield Chair, Colin Beresford, is leading from the front, and cycling the length of the UK to raise money for the PCS chosen charity, The Archer Project.
Colin said “As Chair of Primary Care Sheffield (PCS), I am acutely aware of the impact the spiralling household costs have had on the population health and levels of deprivation in our city. With that in mind, the team at PCS have chosen to support ‘The Cathedral Archer Project , set up specifically to help the homeless in Sheffield live better and more fulfilling lives. That provides me with the perfect opportunity to lead by example and use this as a catalyst to raise monies for a truly worthy cause for the people of our city in difficult times.”
A “JustGiving” page has been set up for anyone wishing to donate, click here.
The challenge will start at Lands End on August 14th and finish in John O’Groats on August 23rd.
Watch out for the other activity we will be launching soon as part of our programme for the year to support The Archer Project.
