Jon is a GP and a clinician-scientist. His academic research focuses on neurological disorders especially epilepsy and seizures, he is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield where he is an investigator on a number of large grant-funded projects, and is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles. Within the Primary Care Steering Group (PCSG) of the NIHR CRN Y&H he guides and advises on how to optimise integration of primary care research with hospital specialities. And he leads the Sheffield Primary Care Research (SPCR) cluster which is a collaboration of eight GP surgeries who deliver complex academic and commercial research studies. He is the Clinical Lead for our Research Office.
