We are delighted to welcome Sam Fellowes, Practice Manager at Birley Health Centre, to the PCS Board. Sam was elected unopposed as the new Practice Manager representative for Hallam and South Locality (HASL).

Sam Fellowes has been the Practice Manager at Birley Health Centre since 2021. Previously Sam enjoyed 15 years in retail with a background of Customer Service, Management and HR. Sam is passionate about empowering community-based health care.

Each ‘Locality’ area in Sheffield appoints two Directors to the PCS Board with a term of office of four years. Sam replaces the current HASL Practice Manager representative who leaves the board mid-term. Sam’s term will therefore end on 30th November 2024.

Colin Beresford, Chair of Primary Care Sheffield, said, “We welcome Sam to the board. Having ‘frontline’ representation on the PCS board is a very important part of our governance structures ensuring that we are meeting the needs of practices in the City.”
