WorkingWin – transfer to new provider

As we have previously communicated, the WorkingWin employment support service is being relaunched on Monday under its new national provider The Shaw Trust.

We are pleased to say that we have had very positive conversations with The Shaw Trust about the service in Sheffield and about our work to integrate WorkingWin within general practice and Sheffield PCNs.

The Shaw Trust assure us that they are committed to ensuring as much continuity as possible and developing the service in the long-term. As with any change of this type, however, we are aware that there will be a short period of transition behind the scenes as employees transfer to the new provider which means – for example – that there might be a couple of weeks where support workers are unable to attend MDT meetings, or engage as normal with practices, as they undertake mandatory training etc. It is also likely that WorkingWin team members might not be able to access system records as normal for the short time until they have their new contracts arranged through the new employer.

We will keep you updated as we hear more. In the meantime the service remains open to new referrals and all existing services users will be able to continue to be able to access WorkingWin as normal throughout the transition.
