Laura Carnall awarded Queen’s Nurse title

We are extremely proud to announce that Laura Carnall our PCS|Practices ‘Clinical Nurse Manager’ has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Nurse title and will pick up here award at a ceremony in London later this year.

The ‘Queen’s Nurse’ title is an honorary title awarded by the Queen’s Nurse Institute to small number of community nurses each year. They are awarded to nurses who show exceptional ‘commitment to high standards of practice and person-centred care and are trusted and valued by the people they serve and respected and admired by their peers”.

Dr Lucy Cormack, Medical Director, said, “This is a huge achievement and is richly deserved by Laura who has shown exceptional leadership and advocacy for nursing across our services. We are so proud of her and hope that she will be the first of many PCS nurses to achieve this honour.”
