The PCS ‘Thank You’ cards are for colleagues who have gone ‘above and beyond’ in their work. The scheme is designed to give people the opportunity to highlight when someone really demonstrates one of our team values by being ‘innovative’, ‘ambitious’, ‘person-centred’, ‘empowering’, or ‘open’.

How does it work?

•            You can nominate anyone who has displayed one of our organisational values.

•            Email PCS.enquiries@nhs.net with their name and and what they’ve done.

•            Your nominees will be sent a personalised ‘thank you’ card for their appraisal file.

•            Their name will also be displayed on this ‘wall of fame’.

Kath has supported one of our most vulnerable patient groups across the Clover Group by organising the District Nurses to administer Covid and Flu vaccinations to housebound patients. Kath liaised with the District Nursing Team, organised rota’s and staff, telephoned patients to book appointments, as well as coordinate vaccine stocks. This resulted in Clover patients being in the first tranche of patients in Sheffield to be vaccinated in this way.
I would like to thank Zee for all the hard work he has put into the new Power BI reports. The services, all rely so heavily on the data Zee generates, to understand how we are performing and how we can improve, but the level of detail in the most react update is staggering. Thank you Zee
I’ve received glowing feedback that Alastair leads by example in terms of making sure that we take a person centred approach with our staff. He demonstrates through his own conduct the importance of inclusivity, sensitivity and support for individuals regardless of background. In doing so he exemplifies a culture that we should all be aspiring to for the PCS, one in which diversity is celebrated.
The running of the PCS vaccination centre which ends today – has been a great part of the Sheffield effort to enable us to get COVID under control. All those who participated deserve a thank you but we would never have done it without the selfless commitment of the ops managers who gave their time and sacrificed weekends to run the clinics.

Over the past 6 months, Lynsey has truly gone above and beyond in terms of her duties and responsibilities to offer a huge amount of knowledge, expertise and support into the Primary & Community Mental Health Transformation agenda. All of this was on top of her day job and existing commitments. Lynsey met a programme transitioning into a service structure, but it needed help and support on its journey.
